Geek du Jour Seth Grahame-Smith Penning 'Fantastic Four' Script

Fox Fox

It's clobberin' time for Seth Grahame-Smith!

The Hollywood Reporter just broke the scoop that the young author of "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" will do a spit polish on Jeremy Slater's script for Fox's new "The Fantastic Four" reboot, to be helmed by "Chronicle" director Josh Trank.

This certainly holds true to Fox's recent attempts to go geek friendly with their Marvel properties, along with hiring on Matthew Vaughn ("X-Men: First Class," "Kick-Ass") as a producer. However, Devin Faraci over at Badass Digest (an admitted friend of Slater's) contends that Grahame-Smith's hiring was meant to be standard, anonymous script doctoring to tweak dialogue and such, and that his overzealous agents planted the story to prove their client wasn't poison. Fox Finds Directors For 'Fantastic Four' and 'Rust'; Loses One For 'Daredevil'

Fox

With Comic-Con in full swing, expect to be carried away like Noah's ark by the flood of superhero movie news, the tip of the iceberg being 20th Century Fox's triple announcement: two good, one bad.

According to Deadline, Fox has finally confirmed "Chronicle" director Josh Trank to reboot "Fantastic Four," while one of the studio's other big Marvel properties, "Daredevil," is now flying blind without attached director David Slade ("The Twilight Saga: Eclipse"). On the plus side, they've nabbed fan fav Joe Cornish of "Attack the Block" to direct "Rust," an adaptation of Royden Lepp's sepia-toned graphic novel which the studio purchased a year ago. GALLERY: These Actresses Look Purrfect in Catsuits

"The Dark Knight Rises" is one of the most anticipated movies of this summer, not just because it's the epic conclusion to Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" franchise, but also because Anne Hathaway will be playing Catwoman. We're looking forward to seeing Hathaway's take on the beloved character, but we might be even more to excited to see her bring all the sexiness and sass we love about Catwoman to that iconic outfit.

Hathaway is one more in a long line of lovely ladies who have donned catsuits in movies, be it attending a costume party or kicking some serious butt. Not everyone can pull off a skin-tight suit, but these actresses make it look easy.

Flip through this gallery of fierce-looking females, and you're going to wish you had nine lives just so you could look at it over and over again. Meow!

Is Stephen Moyer Doomed for 'Fantastic Four'?

Stephen Moyer is a wanted man.

Last Saturday, the "True Blood" vamp married co-star and real-life love Anna Paquin... and already he's the object of someone else's desires. According to ComicBookMovie.com, 20th Century Fox is sweet on Moyer to portray the villainous Dr. Victor Von Doom – Dr. Doom for short – in its reboot of the "Fantastic Four" franchise.

Perhaps you remember that Fox released two "Fantastic Four" movies in 2005 and 2007. Both were directed by Tim Story, both featured Michael Chiklis wearing an ill-advised orange rubber suit (and Jessica Alba wearing well-advised blue Spandex), both turned a tidy profit, and both were thoroughly drubbed by critics and fans. 'Fantastic Four' Reboot Rumors Fly Rampant

DreamWorks

Zombies are big these days, which may explain why Hollywood is already exhuming some of its recently deceased franchises for another shuffle through this mortal coil.
