Goats: They're everywhere. So why aren't there more movies about them?

That's a question that movie fans have been puzzling over for decades, but everyone who loves goats can rest a little easier today, because there's a brand new trailer for the David Duchovny indie "Goats" — and there are plenty of the titular can-eating, bearded mountain sheep to be had.

You're welcome.

Okay, so we're kidding (a little), but we don't think Duchovny would mind. After all, in "Goats," he's grown a gigantic (fake) beard and spends his time herding animals in the far hinterlands of America while simultaneously acting as a mentor to a wayward youth played by up-and-comer Graham Phillips.

And "Goats" has a pretty solid pedigree all around; an official selection at this year's Sundance Film Festival, "Goats" also co-stars Oscar nominee Vera Farmiga as well as Golden Globe winner Keri Russell, not to mention "Modern Family" fave Ty Burrell.

So is "Goats" everything you ever wanted in a goat movie? We suggest you check out the new trailer, courtesy of Yahoo! Movies. Because it would be a baaa-aaaaa-aaaaad idea to miss this one.

Dakota Johnson has signed on to bring a woman's (and probably heterosexual) touch to the new romantic comedy, "Gay Dude," according to Variety.

"Gay Dude" follows the misadventures of two high school seniors who vow to lose their virginity before prom, a quest that becomes more surprising and convoluted when one of them comes out of the closet.

Oh, these wacky high-concept rom coms --finding love (and getting laid) is just never easy, is it?

Johnson's role is currently unknown but it might be safe to assume that her character is targeted for possibly assisting one of the boys in fulfilling his goal. She joins a cast that includes Nicholas Braun ("Red State," "Prom"), newcomer Hunter Cope and Dreama Walker ("Gossip Girl").

Chris Nelson of "HBO Voyeur Project" is set to direct with a script by Alan Yang ("Parks and Recreation").

Dakota Johnson is currently best known for her role as Justin Timberlake's Stanford conquest in "The Social Network" ("I slept with Sean Parker?"). She's since appeared in "Beastly" and will be seen in "21 Jump Street," opening March 16, 2012.

"Gay Dude" is currently filming and will be released sometime in 2012.

How could you be more made of Hollywood royalty than Dakota Johnson?

Famous parents (Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson)? Check. Famous grandparent (Tippi Hedren)? Check. Famous stepfather (Antonio Banderas)? Double check.

We're not sure who her pets are but they've probably been in a commercial or something.

The point is, girl gots some talent running through those veins, and she's ready to prove it after a memorable scene as Justin Timberlake's college conquest in "The Social Network" turned some heads last year.

According to Variety, the lovely Ms. Johnson will co-star in a trio of promising new films, including "Goats" with David Duchonvy and Vera Farmiga, "Five-Year Engagement" for Judd Apatow, as well as a little TV-to-movie masterpiece called "21 Jump Street."

Not bad for a 21-year-old model and former Miss Golden Globe.

We're particularly excited about "Five-Year Engagement" since it re-teams "Sarah Marshall" dudes Nicolas Stoller and Jason Segel to chronicle the tumultuous relationship hinted at by the title. Hey, it worked for "40-Year-Old Virgin," right? Perhaps Apatow & Co. can form a trilogy with "80-Year-Old Boy Scout" or "30-Day-Old Sandwich."

Whatever comes of these films, we hope Johnson can live up to her famous lineage, much like that other successful lady with family ties, Drew Barrymore.
