This past weekend saw the return of superheroes and costumed characters galore to Gotham — er, New York City — for this year's New York Comic Con. While we enjoyed the panels and exhibits, what we loved best were the fans who spent tons of time, attention and probably gobs of hard-earned cash on perfecting their Con looks.
So check out this gallery of sexy mermaids, terrifying supervillains, anime characters come to life and more.
Most of the time, when someone only has a few minutes of screen time in a film, they don't get a whole lot of attention. You know, cameos, walk-ons and extras don't often take the spotlight away from superstars. But when you have three breasts, well, that tends to change more things than just your bra size.
Case in point: According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Total Recall" actress Kaitlyn Leeb has become a viral sensation thanks to her recent appearance at Comic-Con in character — and now she wants the world to know that her character's third breast is just part of the costume.

There are some questions that humans have been asking for thousands of years: What is the meaning of life? What happens when you die? What is art?
We added one more burning question to that list at Comic-Con 2012: Is there a three-breasted hooker in "Total Recall"? It's a question that could have baffled us for years to come, but luckily the cast of "Total Recall" gave us the answer so we don't have to wait until the movie comes out on August 3.
Watch the video above for some shocking revelations, shocked reactions to this question and, oh yeah, some (not so shockingly) hot stars.

Sometimes interviewing the hottest celebs on the planet isn't as easy as it looks. NextMovie editor Kevin Polowy hit the red carpet at Comic-Con 2012 to interview Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Anna Kendrick and Kodi Smit-McPhee about their upcoming movie "ParaNorman."
Unfortunately, it doesn't go so well for Kevin, but luckily Mintz-Plasse was there to put his reporter hat on and save the interview. Has he done this before?
If there was one victor among the movies paneling at San Diego Comic-Con this year, it'd have to be … Marvel. Or was it "Man of Steel"? Or maybe "The Hobbit"?
Another Con's in the can, and we've emerged with new intel on a handful of high-profile mega-movies. There weren't necessarily any groundbreaking casting announcements this year, but first footage from movies like the new Superman flick, "Oz: The Great and Powerful," "Pacific Rim" and "Elysium" had fans and bloggers buzzing big time.
Check out the biggest movie scoops below. What we should add, #16: Getting in line at 7 a.m. does not guarantee you entry into the con's marquee venue (Hall H). Not even for a 6 p.m. panel. And yep, we learned that the hard way. – By Bryan Enk and Kevin Polowy
If you're terrified of the Zombie Apocalypse and not sure if you'll be able to make it through, the case of "Resident Evil: Retribution" has you covered. We talked to two of the movie's stars, Boris Kodjoe and Oded Fehr, at Comic-Con 2012, and they gave us tips on how to survive when the walking dead comes a-knockin'.
In case you thought otherwise, walking around like a zombie doesn't work, but not wearing any clothes apparently does. That sounds easy enough to avoid impending doom. As you get into survival mode, check out the video above for even more words of wisdom.
Not everyone can pull of a skimpy catsuit — this gallery isn't that. This one, however, is of people who could totally pull it off but didn't, at least while they were at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con.
Instead, you'll see Kristen Stewart dressing to match the Comic-Con logo, a breathtaking Michelle Williams, little Mackenzie Foy signing her first autographs and Stan Lee looking like the superhero deity that he is.
It may not be a comic book, but you're still gonna want to flip away through this special Hot People Looking Hot gallery.
Just because Comic-Con superfans love comic books, superheroes and dressing up like their favorite characters doesn't mean they aren't still interested in the ladies. Under those masks and beneath that makeup, Comic-Con fans still have celebrities and sex on the brain.
We caught up with some fanboys at Comic-Con 2012 and asked them which celebrity would make their fantasies come true. Check out the video above to see what they had to say about pleading for their celebrity crushes, positions and even pancakes.
Unless you haven't been on the Internet at all, you know this week has been all about San Diego Comic-Con 2012. At the largest comic book convention in the world, you know there's plenty of fans getting their cosplay on in their favorite comic book/fantasy/sci-fi/superhero outfits.
But it's not just guys in homemade capes and tights showing off their fanboy stuff anymore. From smoldering superheroes to villainous vixens to a supermodel superfan, Comic-Con attendees are showing that they can be downright sexy.
We've gathered some hot-hot superfan photos in this gallery. It's sure to have you geeking out.
While they may not be the most pleasant, death scenes are definitely some of the most memorable and powerful scenes in movies. Everybody's got a death scene that just sticks with them long after the movie is over.
In between all of the panels and special screenings at Comic-Con 2012, we found some time to talk to fans all decked out in costume and ask them to reenact their favorite movie death scenes. From saying a romantic goodbye to melting faces, these fans have some serious deathod acting chops.
Don't worry. The only reason you may need a hanky after watching this video is because you'll be laughing so much at these hilarious reenactments that it just might make you cry.
