GALLERY: There Are No 'Words' for Zoe Saldana's Beauty
Do you know what "The Words" is?
Well, other than a drama about a writer, it's an excuse to watch Zoe Saldana looking hot and romancing Bradley Cooper. And that definitely does not suck.
In fact, while we're thinking of it, let's take a look at Zoe's Hot People Looking Hot gallery.
Q&A: Michael Vartan on Being Gun-Deprived in 'Colombiana'
Michael Vartan is probably best known for his role opposite Jennifer Garner on TV's "Alias," but the affable French-born actor has made an impression on the big screen in movies like "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar," "Never Been Kissed," "One Hour Photo" and "Monster-in-Law." In the exciting French-American action film "Colombiana," on DVD and Blu-ray this week, Vartan has a sexually charged but emotionally distant relationship with an assassin played by Zoe Saldana.
We chatted up Vartan about all sex and no gunplay for his character in "Colombiana," how he feels about the way "Alias" wrapped up, and the skills involved in picking up his future wife in a Whole Foods parking lot. Get More »

Reload Your Weapon With Six 'Colombiana' Clips
After she made a huge splash in James Cameron's "Avatar," it was only a matter of time before Zoe Saldana got to headline her own potential franchise --and though she may not be seeing blue anymore, she is seeing red. Saldana has hooked up with certified action-ologist Luc Besson for the producer's latest high-octane blast to the face, "Colombiana."
In a nod to Besson's earlier films "La Femme Nikita" and "The Professional," Saldana plays Cataleya Restrepo, a hardcore assassin doing some extracurricular work taking out the bad guys who killed her parents. If you want to see the action for yourself, we've got six clips in the chamber, locked and loaded, ready to fire. Get More »
'Colombiana' Actor Michael Showers Found in River
"Colombiana" isn't off to a great start... and we're not talking about box office receipts.
One of its stars, Michael Showers, 45, was found dead yesterday in the Mississippi River.
According to The Wrap, a passing steamboat captain discovered the actor's body; the chief investigator for the NOLA coroner's office told the outlet that "he appeared to have been in the water for two days." There's currently no more information on what happened as of this writing.
Showers played Captain John Guidry on the popular HBO show "Treme" and had been acting in TV and the movies since 2000's "Traffic." He appeared in Terrence Malick's "The Tree of Life" as the abusive Mr. Brown and can be seen opposite Zoe Saldana in this weekend's "Colombiana." Showers was also in "I Love You Phillip Morris," "The Collector" and "Soul Men." Get More »
Zoe Saldana Makes Kicking Butt Sexy Again in 'Colombiana' Trailer
While watching Zoe Saldana fire machine guns, kick armored guards out a window and smash a clueless stoner's head into a table in the new trailer for "Colombiana," (debuting on Yahoo) you realize the woman must be entirely comprised of muscle. Seriously, she's what, 5' 7"? 5' 8"? Thin as a stick, but she can take down beefed up baddies a few heads taller than her with a swift roundhouse kick to the neck.
You can't pull that off after only a few rounds on the elliptical. She's the real deal.
"Colombiana" is the latest from mastermind Luc Besson, the one-man action movie factory that brought us "La Femme Nikita," "The Professional," "The Transporter," "Unleashed," "Taken" and "From Paris with Love." Get More »
