Billy Connolly Joins the Journey of 'The Hobbit'
The treacherous expedition to Lonely Mountain has gained another traveler.
It's definitely the more the merrier when it comes to "The Hobbit," as "Boondock Saints" star Billy Connolly has joined director Peter Jackson's two-part Tolkien adaptation, according to Deadline.
Connolly joins the campaign to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome dragon Smaug in the role of Dain Ironfoot, a fearsome Dwarf warrior and cousin to Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage). He's also the final actor to be cast in "The Hobbit." Get More »
Pixar's Newest Heroine Takes a Bow in 'Brave' Photo
"Brave" heroine Princess Merida might be royalty, but she's no shrinking violet. And now we have the photographic evidence to prove it.
Pixar has released its first official still from the film, which will be released next summer, and it features the fiery Scottish redhead aiming her bow and arrow right at the camera. Duck and cover! Merida's interest in archery is discouraged, of course, and after a rebellious tussle with the 'rents, some unknown horribleness descends upon her daddy's kingdom.
