The past two years have been pretty special in the career of Jessica Chastain. The ginger babe had been sloughing through the dregs of TV guest spots and charming (but hardly ever seen) indies for ages before being recognized as the little snowflake that she is and thrust into the Cannes spotlight for Terrence Malick's "The Tree of Life." Two years later, she's navigated back-to-back awards seasons as a nominee and the gettin' is officially good. The world is her dainty little oyster.
The "porn star name game" is a time-honored tradition in America.
It's a game pretty much anyone can play, depending on the rules — we employ the First Name: First Pet, Last Name: Street You Grew Up On method (our apologies to those with allergies, maybe you had a goldfish?). And the results are, without fail, hilarious.
We asked 100 of our favorite movie stars in Hollywood — including Emma Watson, Keira Knightley, Megan Fox, Ryan Gosling, Paul Rudd, Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, Katie Holmes, Jon Hamm, Emma Stone and Neil Patrick Harris — for their porn star names. They did not let us down. Click through the gallery for all 100.

Hey remember way back on Thursday when we told you that Matthew McConaughey is going to star in Christopher Nolan's new sci-fi epic "Interstellar?" Well, it turns out that he's not the only one, as according to Deadline, Oscar winning actress Anne Hathaway is in talks to reunite with her "The Dark Knight Rises" director as McConaughey's co-star.
Are you ready for Catwoman in Space?
Before you get too excited, we should reiterate that there's no deal yet in place, so it's possible this one might fall through. But given Nolan's track record of putting together the smartest blockbusters in Hollywood (see: "Inception") and their working relationship, "Interstellar" would seem to be the perfect follow-up for Hathaway after her award-winning turn in "Les Miserables." Practically every mega-star in Hollywood has gotten animated.
Tom Hanks was a toy. George Clooney was a fox. Eddie Murphy was an ass a donkey. And in the prehistoric adventure "The Croods," Emma Stone, Nicolas Cage and Ryan Reynolds play a cavegirl, a caveman and a caveboy, respectively.
We wondered what these stars would look like as animated people rather than as, you know, animals and neanderthals and stuff. Thanks to these 17 portraits, we've replaced our wondering with works of art. Get More »
This week: Peter Jackson returns to Middle-earth with "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," the first of three movies based on the classic fantasy novel "The Hobbit" by J.R.R. Tolkien, which features Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins and Ian McKellen reprising his role as the wizard Gandalf from "The Lord of the Rings."
Not all movie stars are created equal. Some are tall. Some are short. Some spend their free time on philanthropy. Some spend their free time in jail. And some secretly gave children up for adoption. Wait; that's actually Tina Fey's character in "Admission" — not to be confused with the real Tina Fey, who (at the time of this posting) has not put any of her offspring up for adoption. Get More »
Anne Hathaway dreamed a dream ... of singing again! And it looks like that dream is coming true.
The "Les Miserables" star is letting her impressive set of pipes take her places as she's signed on to star (and sing in) "Song One," according to Daily Mail.
"Song One" will feature Hathaway as an archaeologist (why not?) who abandons her dig in Morocco and returns to the States after her brother is injured. Once home, she falls for her brother's favorite musician, to be played by singer-songwriter Johnny Flynn, who (in real life) fronts the folk band Johnny Flynn and the Sussex Wit. Get More »
Anne Hathaway, Daniel Day Lewis, Tommy Lee Jones and Joaquin Phoenix are likely shaking in their boots in preparation for this weekend's Oscar awards. Well, maybe just Anne Hathaway. DDL, TLJ, and JoPho are probably taking it easy-peezy, if this video is any proof. Sketch group Barely Political asks the question, What do these cinematic overachievers look like in the privacy of their own dressing rooms?
The answers might not be what you expect (Daniel Day Lewis is in character! Joaquin Phoenix is potentially, er, "dehydrated"?). Or maybe it is what you're expecting: Anne Hathaway bawling like a fully-grown musical theater kid in the spotlight.
Either way, it's certainly entertaining. Just ...don't tell Anne.
Updated Tuesday, Feb. 19.
Okay folks, it's crunch time. Have you submitted your Oscar ballot yet? There's big money on the line (at least a hundy we hope, right?).
As we do every year on NextMovie, we're handicapping the Oscar races to give you a leg up on your friends, family and coworkers when entering your high-stakes pool, which as we all know is as much about the glory as the greenbacks (freaking Al from finance still hasn't gotten that smirk off of his face for calling Cotillard over Christie in 2008; get over yourself, Al).
Our usual disclaimers: We do not condone gambling, unless you're in Vegas or on a reservation. Good luck!
(And for a trusty second opinion, check out Joe Reid's Oscar predictions on Film.com.)
In another installment of "Les Mean Girl"-ing, actress Scarlett Johansson has taken a little time from her busy Broadway theatrics schedule for "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" to pout over losing the role of Fantine in Tom Hooper's "Les Miserables" to the now-awards heavy Anne Hathaway.
Uh huh, for real. ScarJo declared to Broadway.com that while she went into her audition for the role fully prepared and enthused, she just couldn't shake a mean sore throat and it cost her big time.
"I sang my little heart out," she said, "The jazz hands kid inside me was just over the moon!" Get More »
