"True Blood" star Anna Paquin has learned a thing or two about the dark side during her days in Bon Temps, and it will certainly come in handy in her latest role.
Indie Wire reports that the actress joins "Thor" star Tom Hiddleston and Elijah Wood in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of Elliot Chaze's 1953 noir novel "Black Wings Has My Angel."
The project started being shopped around Hollywood in 2007 with Wood as a producer, but the "Lord of the Rings" star quickly learned that getting into Mordor movies made isn't always easy, although a little persistence pays off.

Seems like just yesterday Freddie Highmore was scampering around movies like "Finding Neverland" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" as a sweet, precocious youngster.
