"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" is taking a bite out of the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.
A brand new 90-second trailer for the film franchise's final installment, which hits theaters Nov. 16, will debut during the show, airing Thursday, Sept. 6, at 8 p.m. ET/PT
The closing chapter of Stephenie Meyer's best-selling series, which hits theaters Nov. 16, finds a newly-turned vampire Bella (played by Kristen Stewart) and her Cullen clan fending off the advances of the villainous Volturi with the help of allies, both cold- and hot-blooded.

We're not real big on planning ahead , but some events, even ones that aren't until next year, are just so important that there's no such thing as preparing too far in advance.
No, we're not talking about the end of the Mayan calendar -- we're talking about the 2012 MTV Movie Awards and the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, which MTV has just announced will be held on Sunday, June 3 and Sunday, September 9 respectively.
