As the costume designer for "The Hunger Games," Judianna Makovsky drew inspiration from fashion legends like Elsa Schiaparelli and Alexander McQueen. Obviously, the citizens of the Capitol could afford such pricey wares.

But for most citizens of the rest of Panem — and the modern-day United States — a fortune for a pair of fabulous, Effie Trinket-like shoes isn't exactly in the budget.
