Summer is in full swing and for movie fans, that means your mind is filled with visions of superheroes. "The Amazing Spider-Man!" "The Dark Knight Rises!" "The Avengers!" But today, Entertainment Weekly has posted a bunch of new photos that will make you forget all about that stuff, because they feature the year's biggest cinematic hero — and he's three foot three with very hairy feet.
Are you ready for "The Hobbit?"
That's a rehtorical question, of course; the whole world has been ready for "The Hobbit" ever since Peter Jackson finished the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy nearly a decade ago.
But while we still have a ways to go —"The Hobbit" doesn't open until December 14 — today is a very good day, thanks to not one, but ten brand new photos featuing Bilbo, Gandalf and all the rest of Middle Earth's mightiest heroes. So get psyched, because your summer just got a little bit hotter:
