Voldemort Terrorizes Grand Central Station with Off-Off-Broadway Performance Art

YouTube

We've seen just about everything in New York City’s Grand Central station. Mimes. Panhandlers. Mimes handling pans – they cook a mean panini!

But wizards? That’s unusual, even by New York's standards.

Judging from this bouncy YouTube video, embedded below and discovered by Tyler Oakley, Voldemort and his band of baddies tried to extract information regarding a certain bushy haired boy’s whereabouts from a clumsy muggle.

Time for everyone's favorite game: viral marketing or crazy people? Let’s weigh the two options.

Reasons why this is absolutely, 100% viral marketing:
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part" 1 hits theaters this month.
The make-up looks professional.
The performers are, for the most part, competent actors.

Reason why this is absolutely, 100% grown-ups playing dress up:
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" hits theaters this month – and they're totally psyched!
The costumes look like spray-painted bathrobes.
Bellatrix pronounced the "Imperius Curse" as "Imperius." It’s "Imperio," duh!
The video was uploaded to YouTube on Halloween.

In either case, we can’t help but wish more Potterian wizardry and witchcraft took place in our day-to-day lives.
