Doth our eyes deceive, or is this latest picture from Vin "Secrets Slip Like Water" Diesel a super clear indicator of what he's been chatting it up with Marvel about?
After teasing everyone late last month about his not-so-hush-hush studio summons, the very viral Vin Diesel updated his Facebook last night with a new Marvel-ous pictorial update of himself standing before an "Avengers" comic poster featuring, prominently, the Giant-Man... a character who's also sometimes referred to as the Ant-Man. Aha!
"See the new Giant Man!" the artwork beside Diesel, a decidedly giant man himself, reads.
"Only the people in room can tell you what was discussed," he wrote, adding "you know I get tunnel vision with my work ... and after that meeting today ... wow!"
Giant-Man is one of the superhero pseudonyms for Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym in the world of "The Avengers" — a science guy who's figured a way that he can get really, really big or really, really small at his discretion — and in the comic book series, he also becomes the original Ant-Man for a spell before being succeeded by others.
Marvel, of course, just so happens to be currently developing an "Ant-Man" movie as part of its "Phase Three" launch, set to release on Nov. 6, 2015 ... oh, and forgive our nerdiness here, but "Vision" also happens to be a synthezoid-android created by one of Hank Pym's little robots to destroy him. So, Vin Diesel's choice of words ("vision!") could be construed as a sorta sly indicator of the villainy to come in the "Ant-Man" story, too.
2 + 2 = 4, right? Boom!
