Maybe it's not too late to add another baby subplot into "Breaking Dawn - Part 2."
Jackson Rathbone, who plays Cullen family member Jasper Hale in the "Twilight" movies, and his girlfriend, Sheila Hafsadi, are now proud parents, according to Us Weekly.
Rathbone and his ladylove welcomed their first child together, Monroe Jackson Rathbone VI (great name, that), on Thursday morning. Monroe is a hearty lad, weighing in at eight pounds, 11 ounces.
"One of the greatest things I could expect to be in life is a father," Rathbone told Us Weekly last February at the premiere of the Amanda Seyfried thriller, "Gone." "I'm very excited!"
Dad met Mom, a burlesque dancer, while he was on tour with his band, 100 Monkeys. We think it's safe to say that Monroe Jackson Rathbone VI is going to be something of a "carny kid."
Jackson Rathbone will be playing Jasper Hale for the fifth and final time in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2," opening Nov. 16. His other roles include water warrior Sokka in M. Night Shyamalan's "The Last Airbender," the creepy and conflicted Jeremy in "S. Darko" and the doomed Stephen Grace in the screen adaptation of one of Clive Barker's "Books of Blood" short stories, "Dread."
