Tom Hardy is too sexy for the Batmobile!
Thanks to FilmDrunk (via Vulture) for tracking down this video featuring the "Dark Knight Rises" star channeling his inner Zoolander back in the late '90s.
"Tom from London" was a contestant in a male modelling contest that aired on "The Big Breakfast," an early morning light entertainment British television series, back in 1998. It's hard to believe that the skinny 20-year old "whose acting heroes are Gary Oldman and Steven Berkoff" will one day grow up to be Gotham's reckoning (and a few pounds heavier).
And little did this young man know that he would go on to act with one of his heroes in not one but three (and counting!) movies: "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy," "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Lawless."
This is all quite adorable. Check out Tom winning the contest below (none of the other pretty gents had a chance, really).
