Shailene Woodley better start shopping for some red hair dye.

"The Descendants" beauty will soon be following in the footsteps of Kirsten Dunst as a non-redhead cast as perhaps the most famous redhead in the entire Marvel universe, according to Variety.

Production on "Spider-Man 2" (we'll call it that until we're instructed otherwise) commences in early 2013 with a look toward a release date of May 2, 2014. Both Marc Webb and Andrew Garfield are confirmed for triumphant returns as director and wallcrawler, respectively.
