If we could have one wish, it would be for world peace. If we could have a second, it would be a shot-for-shot remake of "Species," starring Scarlett Johansson.
Imagine our elation when we woke up this morning to the news that our wish had come true. No, not world peace. Johansson will play a sex-alien, reports Heat Vision.
Of course, sex-alien doesn't mean "Species" remake, but beggars can't be choosers when it comes to sci-fi erotica.
"Under the Skin" (great title because she's an alien under the skin and because... mmm Scarlett Johansson) will be written and directed by Jonathan Glazer ("Birth,” "Sexy Beast").
Heat Vision says the story is about "an alien on earth, disguised as the perfect aesthetic form of a mesmerizing woman. She scours remote highways and desolate scenery looking to use her greatest weapon to snare human prey — her voracious sexuality."
On ScarJo's alien, Heat Vision says she "is deadly efficient, but over time becomes drawn to and changed by the complexity of life on earth. With this ne found humanity and weakening alien resolve, she finds herself on a collision course with her own kind."
Pardon, what? A promiscuous, free-spirited woman bends to society's traditions? That's what's going on here, right? Wild sex goddess falls in love, transforms into matriarch of atomic family?
Wait. Wait. What are we doing? This is our wish… well, our second wish. Scarlet Johansson. Wild sex goddess. Keep your eye on the prize.
No word on "Under the Skin'"s release. We'll keep you posted as the world's happiest day approaches.
