Sure, there are a lot of action heroes who knock over buildings, punch out the bad guys and make giant robots explode, but how many of them can say they've brought peace to the streets of New York City? Only one man, that's who, and he's "The Notebook" star Ryan Gosling. Take that, Batman.
The evidence: This amateur video, shot by a passerby in New York's East Village who witnessed a fight between two dudes over a painting, or something. That's not important - what is important is that, just when things looked like they were getting out of hand, Ryan Gosling swooped in.
