Just hours after rocking the red carpet at the Met Gala in a sexy Tom Ford crocodile-style leather dress, Rihanna tweeted a photo of her arm hooked up to an IV for fluids from what looked like a hospital bed.
Busy doesn't begin to describe Rihanna's schedule lately, with premieres all over the world for the upcoming movie "Battleship," press appearances for the U.S. release of "Battleship" next week, a performance on "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend and a glamorous night at the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday. Whew!
Rihanna was reportedly already sick with the flu on Saturday night and wasn't able to make a dress rehearsal for "SNL." Even the most robust chart-topper can't keep going all the time, so it stands to reason that Rihanna's exhausting schedule caught up with her. She's gotta get ready for another round of premieres for "Battleship" next week, when it opens in the U.S. on May 18, and she's also slated to appear on the "American Idol" finale on May 23.
Rihanna also made a pit stop at Coachella for recreational purposes in mid-April. The pop star lets it all hang out on Twitter and Instagram, and shared some of her shenanigans online for all to see. Of course, plenty of 20-somethings do the same thing all the time; it's just that Rihanna has millions of people watching her party. Whether or not Rihanna had the flu or "the flu" isn't really any of our business. All we can say is feel better soon, RiRi! We're ready for you to sink our "Battleship"!
