Every director is always on the hunt for the next big thing. Whatever their last project was, the next one has to be bigger, bolder, more. But when your last movie won an Oscar, what project could you possibly tackle that would be even bigger than that?
Well, how about killing Osama Bin Laden?
America, say hello to the first trailer for Kathryn Bigelow's "Zero Dark Thirty."
Bigelow, of course, is no stranger to movies about war, having won Best Picture and Best Director for her last film, the Iraq-set drama "The Hurt Locker." Now, though, she's moving into even bolder territory with "Zero Dark Thirty," which tells the story of the hunt for, and eventual elimination of, the world's most wanted criminal, Osama Bin Laden.
Set to hit theaters just in time for Christmas, "Zero Dark Thirty" stars Jessica Chastain and Joel Edgerton. Here's the first teaser, courtesy of indieWatch:
