Tyler Perry Recruits Eugene Levy For 'Madea's Witness Protection' Trailer

Tyler Perry Co.

Tyler Perry is back as Madea, and she's getting ready to whoop the some greedy one-percenter ass.

As the seventh in a series that may someday rival James Bond in numbers, "Madea's Witness Protection" is the latest opportunity for Forbes Magazine's highest paid man in entertainment to shake his moneymaker as Madea Simmons, the gun toting moral compass at the center of Perry's media empire.

The new trailer from Yahoo! Movies pairs him/her with comic genius Eugene Levy of Jim's Dad in "American Pie" and all the Christopher Guest movies.

Levy plays George Needleman, a Bernie Madoff-ish CFO accused of spearheading a Ponzi scheme for the New York City mafia, who's forced to enter his family into a witness protection program. Because this is a movie, the FBI decides the safest place to hide the weasel is Madea's house down south with her brother Joe, where the heartless businessman is sure to learn a lesson or two about manners.

Besides Levy, Perry's recruited some more superwhite folks to see how the other half lives, including ex-Mrs. Sheen Denise Richards as Levy's wife, Doris Roberts ("Everybody Loves Raymond") as his mom, and the comedy whirlwind that is Tom Arnold, all of whom will undoubtedly get slapped by Madea at some point. Hallelujer!

Perry will be dragging it up as Madea as well as Joe and Brian Simmons, in addition to his usual directing/producing/writing gigs. Ahh, the life of an auteur.
