By now, you're probably pretty much familiar with the birds and the bees. After all, it's pretty much a universal experience: Boy meets girl (or another boy, whichever), the two fall in love, one thing leads to another and then the next thing you know you're stuck in an iron lung for the rest of your life hoping a sex therapist can save your soul.
Or ... actually, maybe that experience is more specific than universal. Guess you'll just have to watch the new trailer for "The Sessions" to find out, huh?
Not that checking out "The Sessions" is any kind of big burden. After all, the heartwarming indie was one of the breakout sensations at this year's Sundance Film Festival. But just in case you weren't able to attend Sundance this year, here's a quick rundown: Oscar nominee John Hawkes stars as a man who has been confined to an iron lung for his whole life after contracting polio as a child. Now he's decided it's time to see what life has to offer — and that's a euphemistic way of saying he gets down and dirty with a sex therapist played by Helen Hunt.
Based on a true story (honestly), here's a look at the trailer for 'The Sessions," courtesy of Apple Trailers.
