Considering "Savages" features one of the coolest casts in recent memory (Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Johnson, Emile Hirsch, Salma Hayek, Uma Thurman, John Travolta, Benicio del Toro, etc.), you wouldn't think that an innovative director like Oliver Stone wouldn't have any trouble crafting a trailer that shows off the film's highlights.
But coming up with something this cool in just 15 short seconds? Now that's pretty impressive.
And Stone somehow manages to convey just the vibe but also the basic plot as well, as "Savages" (based on the novel by Don Winslow) tells the tale of two small time pot purveyors who go to war with a Mexican cartel in order to save their girlfriend. So check it out, courtesy of MTV.
