Okay, remember Teddy, Haley Joel Osment's fluffy companion from "A.I. Artificial Intelligence?" Now picture him with a few beers and some bong hits in him and that might clue you in to what's in store for the feature debut of "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane.
Funny or Die just dropped the super quadruple filthy NSFW trailer for "Ted" in which star Mark Wahlberg and his CGI bear cohort take plush toy irreverence to another level, and makes MacFarlane's animated shows on FOX look family friendly in comparison. Also, bonus points for using The Heavy's song from "The Fighter."
Wahlberg and his wicked thick Boston accent plays John, a seemingly normal dude whose childhood stuffed animal Ted (voiced in great Peter Griffin style by MacFarlane) is not only alive but still living a gross-out bachelor existence as his roommate. When a lady named Lori (Meg Griffin herself, Mila Kunis) comes into John's life she doesn't exactly embrace Ted, as cute as he is.
Though John and his bear might be thunder buddies for life, they're clearly both in a state of arrested development and "Ted" will undoubtedly explore their journey from boys II men. The scene where Wahlberg and Ted play a white trash name guessing game alone gives the term "Ted Talk" added gravity.
But don't take it from us, the star of the movie wants you to see it too. Yes, Ted has an official Twitter account, and when he's not cracking wise about Hurricane Katrina or the Snuggle bear he's promoting his screen debut:
"Hey f**ktards, check out the wicked dirty trailer of my new movie 'Ted' while I have a 3-way with Barbie and Jem."
