You're never too old to play spy games.
Bruce Willis, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren return as over-the-hill secret agents prone to causing international incidents in "RED 2," the sequel to the 2010 action comedy that you probably don't remember too much of.
This time, Frank Moses (Willis) is the target as INTERPOL has deemed him number one on their Most Wanted list, which puts his would-be retirement with new sweetie Sarah (Mary-Louise Parker) on hold as former ally and MI6 agent Victoria (Mirren) hunts him down. Malkovich is back to provide more Howlin' Mad Murdock shenanigans (it should come as no surprise that he always keeps a stick of dynamite in his pocket "in case of emergencies") whilst Catherine Zeta-Jones, Byung-hun Lee and Mirren's "Hitchcock" pal Anthony Hopkins make up the new recruits.
As 2013 sequels starring Bruce Willis are concerned, "RED 2" ranks somewhere ahead of "A Good Day to Die Hard" and behind "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" on our excited-o-meter. Dean Parisot ("Fun with Dick and Jane") takes over directing duties Robert Schwentke, who passed on the sequel to call the shots on "R.I.P.D.," opening July 19.
