Chloe Grace Moretz has been called a lot of things over the last couple of years — a superb talent, an up and coming star, Hit Girl — but the new red band trailer for her latest films proves there's one thing you should never call her: A "Hick."
And yeah, this trailer is red band for a reason.
Co-starring Blake Lively, Alec Baldwin and "My Week with Marilyn's" Eddie Redmayne, "Hick" features Moretz as a young gal who runs away from her dirt poor home to seek a new beginning out on the open road. Instead she finds trouble a whole boatload of trouble when she runs afoul of Redmayne's down low drifter.
"Hick," which hits theaters on may 11, has been generating buzz ever since it debuted at last year's Toronto Film Festival. And this red band trailer is sure to ratchet up the hype even further. Here it is, slightly NSFW-for-violence, courtesy of Yahoo! Movies:
