First 'Skyfall' TV Teaser Goes For Gold During Olympics Opening Ceremony

NBC

Trust James Bond to make sure the Olympics start off with a bang.

First, Daniel Craig appeared in character as 007 during the Danny Boyle-directed opening ceremonies of the 2012 London Olympic Games on Friday night, escorting Queen Elizabeth II as the two apparently parachuted into the arena where the extravaganza was being held. And then, he actually managed to one-up that, as the first television teaser for the upcoming Bond thriller "Skyfall" made its world premiere.

And once you get a look at it, you'll agree that Bond and company are definitely going for gold.

Set to arrive in theaters on November 9, "Skyfall" is the third Bond film to feature Craig as Britain' suavest secret agent. This time around, though, he's got more on his mind than hot babes and cool cars, as the secret past of Judi Dench's M comes back to haunt — and quite possibly kill — everyone.
