The 5 Most OMG Moments from the Final 'Catching Fire' Trailer

The final trailer for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is in, and tributes, they totally saved the best for last with this one ... even if it did launch during last night's fourth World Series game between the Red Sox and the Cardinals for whatever reason (welcome to an all-new brand of competition, sports fans).

In it, we finally get a glimpse at some of that jungle action the gamemakers director Francis Lawrence and his team have rustled up for movie two, and they weren't stingy with peeks at some of the arena's freakiest little tricks either.

So to celebrate all the newness this "Catching Fire" tease has to offer, we're breakin' down the top 5 OMG-iest moments.

If you don't already know that spoilers abound below, you have not been paying attention.

5. This Hob is on fire

It's not a proper movie about "The Girl Who Was on Fire" Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) unless we see some flames licking and destroying something special to her — her father, her leg, or as in this case, The Hob where she and her best pal Gale (Liam Hemsworth) once traded their fresh kills in for various goods.

So long Greasy Sae. Your dog, er, meat soup was sublime.

4. Welcome to the jungle

As Guns 'n Roses predicted, it does get worse here everyday. But enough about that; would you just look at that arena?

Not only is it massive, but it's also a whole lot more lush and morbidly exciting than what we saw from afar during production (remember when tricksy "Hunger Games" fans used Google Maps to snoop on the set?).

This is presumably the first glimpse Katniss'll get at the full tick tockin' thing, and we can certainly see why she'd be intimidated by what she's up against in round two.

3. Locket that bargaining chip

In the gooier portions of the "Catching Fire" cake, Katniss and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) are at odds over who should survive this installment of the Games — since we know good and well ole' Prezzy Snow ain't gonna allow two victors to come outta this thing again.

She thinks he's a better face for whatever movement's going down with the districts, but he gives her this locket to prove she's got more to live for than he does ... 'cause without her, he's got nothing. D'awww.

What's surprising about this is the pic selection Peeta made for the thing. Mrs. Everdeen (Paula Malcomson), Gale and Prim (Willow Shields) are all captured during the Reaping scene from movie one. But why? Did the props people get too lazy to arrange for some other portraits or is this supposed to remind Katniss of how much she wanted to win the first time her name was drawn from that fish bowl? Either way, it's kinda weird.

2. Remembering who the real enemy is

From this angle, it looks like Catnip is taking Haymitch's words about remembering who the real enemy is to heart and pointing her trusty arrow straight at President Snow (Donald Sutherland).

In the preview he taunts her with, "You fought very hard in the arena, but they were Games. Would you like to be in a real war?"

Here it looks like her answer to that question may just be "Yezzir!"

1. Scares ahead

Annnnd here's what we "Hunger Games" faithful have been just waiting to see: the little horrors of this year's arena. While even this "Catching Fire" trailer opted out of showing anything we didn't already know about from the book — though some of the shivery slivers weren't spelled out on paper — it did give a peek at those frights we've been bracing for, like this giant tidal wave ...
