It was only a matter of time before karma (or something) conjured up an opportunity for Judd Nelson to play a high school principal of sorts. We just weren't expecting the scenario to also involve evil spirits (or something).
"The Breakfast Club" meets "The Evil Dead" in "Bad Kids Go to Hell," a horror comedy that features the "Breakfast Club" alum in a beard and bow tie as the headmaster of a school where the behavior of the graduating class is becoming downright demonic.
Horror is hard to do right. Comedy is even harder. But "horror comedy" ... well, that might be the most difficult undertaking of all. And putting in snarky, unlikable teenagers into the mix makes it darn near impossible to pull off. However, "Bad Kids Go to Hell" definitely scores a few points for the casting of Nelson ... and for that slow-motion shot of a basketball hitting some poor girl's face.
