Mmm, pie.
It's been eight long years since America's sweet tooth was treated to a batch of the original "American Pie" recipe, but that's about to change thanks to the upcoming comedy "American reunion" -- and People now has the first exclusive interviews, photo and video clip from behind the scenes.
Oh, sure, the "American Pie" franchise has been going strong -- or, at least going -- for the last decade, with one low budget direct-to-DVD sequel after another being churned out to keep the brand in the public eye. But there's nothing like the real thing, which is why we're so stoked to have Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Tara Reid, Alyson Hannigan and the whole gang back together.
And to hear them tell it, they're almost as excited as we are.
"We realized that no matter how much we may have changed individually, as a group we will always be connected and have a special chemistry that arises immediately when we're together," Biggs said.
"In many respects we've grown up a lot," Scott added. "But on the other hand we haven't grown up at all. On-set, Jason Biggs was farting up a storm, Chris Klein was belching, and Eddie Kaye Thomas and Biggs were hitting each other in [the groin]."
All in a day's work for Stifler and the gang -- and we wouldn't have it any other way.
"American Reunion" is set to arrive in theaters on April 6.
