Live From New York, The Muppets Take Manhattan

"Saturday Night Live" has had some of the biggest movie stars in the world drop in to host the show over the past 36 years, but this weekend the venerable show featured probably its most famous host yet: Kermit the Frog.

Okay, so technically Jason Segel was the "host," but since he bought some of his "Muppets" cohorts along with him, there was no question who the true stars would be -- and Kermit's gang didn't disappoint, stealing the show right from the opening number.

Turns out being green is pretty damn easy after all.

Of course, The Muppets are no strangers to "Saturday night Live;" in fact, as Kermit pointed out during the opening monologue, The Muppets were actually regularly featured in the very first season of "SNL" way back in 1975. So it's no surprise that Jim Henson's beloved creators knocked it out of the part on Saturday night, performing not just during the monologue but also in the specially renamed segment "Really!?! with Seth and Kermit."

Check out the skits, courtesy of Hulu and remember: It's a Muppet world, we're just living in it.
