"Remember, this isn't just a search party — it's a chance to do some first-class scouting."
The crown jewel sleeper hit of Summer 2012 was "Moonrise Kingdom," Wes Anderson's latest bit of cinematic whimsy featuring impeccably art-directed sets, stylized yet heartfelt performances and totally awesome costumes. Both nostalgic and unsentimental, "Moonrise" chronicles the love affair between two troubled youths who, after fleeing into the wilderness, end up bringing together their families and members of their community in unexpected ways.
In this exclusive clip, Sam (Jared Gilman) has run away from his Khaki Scout camp, which prompts Scout Master Ward (Edward Norton) to rally his troops to utilize "the orienteering and pathfinding skills you've been practicing all summer." As the boys seem to expect some sort of resistance from the deserter, Ward also has to emphasize that theirs is a "non-violent" rescue operation.
