It seems like he appeared overnight and took over Hollywood; after his brief but excellent turn in 2009's "Inglorious Basterds," he appeared in basically every movie ever, including critically applauded roles in "X-Men: First Class," "Jane Eyre," "A Dangerous Method," and, of course, "Shame," the movie where he showed his ding-dong, forever insuring a place for "Fassbender's Little Fassbender" in our cultural lexicon.
