Earlier this year, we brought you the news that Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg were uniting their comedic forces for "I Hate You, Dad" which has them defying the laws of nature and math to play father and son. But funny men need really pretty ladies to play opposite them (it's a rule of the genre), and Leighton Meester has volunteered.
According to Variety, she's signed on to play Samberg's fiancee, who immediately begins feuding with Daddy Sandler after he moves in with them.
Meester isn't the only new addition to the rapidly moving production. Vanilla Ice has joined the fun as a gay wedding planner named Antonio. James Caan is in talks to play Meester's tough father. Caan and Sandler appeared together in "Bulletproof" and clearly enjoyed the experience enough to finally reunite.
"I Hate You, Dad" also has not one, but two directors in Sean Anders and John Morris, and will be produced under Sandler's Happy Madison shingle.
It's set to hit theaters on June 15, 2012.
