Ever wonder what the original star of "Footloose" thinks of the reboot? (We're talking about Kevin Bacon, in case you've managed to still be unfamiliar with the '84 classic.)
Well, thanks to the wonders of the Internet, wonder no more. In one word, he thinks it "rocked."
Bacon — who apparently caught the early bird special with a 12:10pm screening in Boston on Sunday — posted a snapshot of his ticket stub on WhoSay, along with some congrats and positive reinforcement for the mostly newcomers in the cast.
"F-Loose! Just saw it," he wrote. "Congrats to Craig, Kenny, Julianne, Dennis, Andie, Miles, and the rest of the cast. U guys rocked it!"
Not only did the actor approve of the modern twist on his flick, but he even spent his own hard-earned cash (almost $10!) to see it. And he even got there six minutes before the start time, which means he probably sat through like 20 minutes of previews to ensure he didn't miss one beat of the dancing action. For Kenny Wormald, Julianne Hough and the rest of the cast, that's gotta feel pretty good.
