The upcoming movie about the Gotti crime clan is becoming something of a real-life family affair as well.
In what we think is a brilliant (or at least convenient) bit of casting, Kelly Preston has joined her off-screen (and, now, on-screen as well) husband, John Travolta, in "Gotti: Three Generations," according to People. Preston will be playing Victoria Gotti, the wife of Travolta's John Gotti, Sr.
But why stop with the meta-shenanigans there? Their real-life daughter, Ella Bleu, 11, has also been cast as their on-screen daughter, Angel Gotti.
The Travolta clan joins Lindsay Lohan, who will play their daughter-in-law, Kim Gotti, the wife of John Gotti, Jr. Mob movie veteran Joe Pesci has long been rumored to be part of the cast, though there's been no official announcement regarding his involvement.
"Gotti: Three Generations" will be directed by Barry Levinson, who's covered similar territory before with "Bugsy" (1991), which starred Warren Beatty as famed gangster Ben 'Bugsy' Siegel.
