Marion is out. Keira is in. "Cosmopolis."
Robert Pattinson has himself a new trophy wife on the set of director David Cronenberg's adaptation of Don DeLillo's 2003 novel, according to CosmopolisFilm. Marion Cotillard apparently just can't handle the pressure of being a billionaire asset manager's wife, so Keira Knightley has stepped in to be Robert Pattinson's lovely bride.
"Cosmopolis" follows one very strange day in the life of a young billionaire, whose attempt to travel across Midtown Manhattan in his high-tech limo to get a haircut turns into a bizarre Big Apple adventure filled with murder and mayhem.
Keira recently worked with Cronenberg on his latest film, "A Dangerous Method," which chronicles the relationship between Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung. It will be released later this year.
For the record, we like Pattz & Keira more than Pattz & Marion. Marion as Pattinson's wife would've seemed a bit like cradle-robbing. Though that can be hot, too...
"Cosmopolis" can now hopefully commence with production full-throttle, unless anyone else feels like dropping out (Pattinson replaced Colin Farrell when he jumped ship -- or jumped limo, rather -- to go do "Total Recall").
