Hugh Grant has made a living playing characters that initially come off like jerks, only to later have their true nature revealed by that gal with the heart of gold. But according to "The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart, Grant isn't just playing an assh*le on the big screen — he's actually an assh*le in real life, too.
And that's an act that Stewart has no interest in ever seeing again.
This all comes from a revealing one-on-one between Stewart and his good pal, "Colbert Report" host Stephen Colbert, who according to Third Beat Magazine recently sat down to interview each other for charity.
When asked who his least favorite guest of all time was, Stewart answered that it was Hugh Grant, "and we've had dictators on the show." Besides complaining that he had better places to be, Stewart said Grant was "giving everyone s**t the whole time, and he's a big pain in the ass."
The highlight of Grant's 2009 visit, though, came when he complained that the clip provided to "The Daily Show" to promote Grant's new project, "Did You Hear About the Morgans?" When Grant angrily asked "What is that clip? It's a terrible clip," Stewart replied, "Well, then make a better f**king movie."
Stewart wrapped up by saying he would "never" have Hugh back on the show. Looks like Grant's act has finally started to wear thin.
