Things are about to get hairy for Jessica Szohr.
The "Gossip Girl" beauty will soon be wolfing out in the new horror comedy, "Love Bite," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"Love Bite" takes place in the dead-end town of Rainmouth, where the local young folk believe a series of gruesome murders is the work of a werewolf feeding on virgin flesh. Suddenly, the only way to stay safe is to get laid... or is it?
Yeah, it sounds like it's basically "Cherry Falls" (remember that one?) but with a werewolf. Awesome!
Szohr joins a cast that includes Edward Speleers ("Eragon") and Luke Pasqualino ("The Borgias."). The bloody/sexy mayhem will be overseen by television director Andy de Emmony.
Jessica Szohr is best known for her role as Vanessa Abrams on "Gossip Girl" and was one of the hapless swimmers of "Piranha 3D." She'll next be seen with Sarah Jessica Parker in "I Don't Know How She Does It," opening Sept. 16.
"Love Bite" will commence production in Scotland in early October. Beware the moors!
