With casting for the coveted roles of Johanna Mason and Brutus in "Catching Fire" well under way this week, "Hunger Games" fans are still starving for news about what sort of heroics they'll be seeing next from Katniss Everdeen. How about the heroics of Jennifer Lawrence?
A photographer from X17 caught the 21-year-old Lawrence in front of her apartment building in Santa Monica rushing to the aid of a teenage girl who suddenly collapsed on the lawn. The star and another male bystander tried to wake the girl, but when she was unresponsive called 911 and waited by her side.
Turns out the girl was merely experiencing a fainting spell, and was revived by paramedics and taken home by a friend.
"Jennifer ran outside her apartment when she heard a girl scream and immediately called 911," said the photographer on scene. "When the EMT arrived, she stayed to make sure everything was okay. She was really scared for the girl."
Too bad J-Law doesn't carry an EpiPen that can be shot out of a bow and arrow. Still, that's pretty cool of Lawrence to come to stay by her side just like she stayed with Rue, only this outcome is a little happier. Also, coming out of her apartment in a tanktop, sweatpants, and flipflops with bandages on her arms takes real bravery, especially with swarms of paparazzi on her 24-7.
