"A villain so determined you'll wonder why he's uniting the only people who can stop him ... in hopes of getting them to dislike each other."
Sure, "The Avengers" isn't a perfect film. We think even its most dedicated fans and diehard defenders realize that (well, at least realize that some people think that it isn't a perfect film). But it was so damn exciting to see all these beloved characters together, kicking alien ass and bickering with each other that you kind of just let it all wash over you and didn't think too hard on the flaws (for the most part).
Well, it's been a few months since "The Avengers" blasted its way into theaters, and with time and distance comes being more willing to criticize. Screen Junkies has been telling it like it is with their Honest Trailers series, and this time they've targeted the year's biggest blockbuster, from "Joss Whedon, God of the Nerds."
Even if you don't agree with all of the points they bring up (we're sure someone out there likes Captain America the best), you have to admit they're all pretty valid observations. Even the cheap shots like referring to Chris Evans as "The Human Torch" (a gig that Evans really, really wants us all to forget).
