We've always said there was something "Magic"-al about this gal.
Emily Browning is proving that there will indeed be life after "Sucker Punch" as she's signed on to star in the indie thriller, "Magic, Magic," according to Variety.
Browning joins Michael Cera in the story about a girl vacationing with her friends in Chile who begins to "lose control of her mental faculties." It's unknown as to whether she'll be playing the girl or one of the friends.
Juno Temple, the "Atonement" actress who recently scored a role in "The Dark Knight Rises," has also signed on for the film, as has Catalina Sandino Moreno ("Maria, Full of Grace").
Not much is known about the film other than it promises to be quite the dark departure for Cera, who's known for his comedic performances in "Superbad" and "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World."
"Magic, Magic" will be written and directed by Sebastian Silva, whose 2009 film, "The Maid," was nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film.
Emily Browning is currently making wave at Cannes with "Sleeping Beauty," an erotic fairy tale about the subversive sexual adventures of a university student. Yowza!
