Drew Barrymore started crying as little Gertie in "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial" and pretty much never stopped.
In "Big Miracle," Drew Barrymore plays a Greenpeace activist who's leading a national effort to save three whales (named Fred, Wilma and Bam Bam, by the way) who are trapped under the ice. In honor of the tears of anger, frustration and eventually joy that she sheds throughout her noble crusade, Vulture has put together a montage of cryin' Drew from over the years (a sort of companion piece to the one starring Julianne Moore from a couple of years ago).
For the record, Drew apparently didn't cry at any point in "Donnie Darko," "Whip It" or the two "Charlie's Angels" films. But that might be it as far as "dry" Drew movies (although it looks like she's only almost about to cry in "Firestarter"). And we know for a fact that she cried during "Poison Ivy" -- because, really, how could you not?
