We scour the interwebs for the coolest movie news and more so you don't have to ...

For all of the Comic-Con hype back in 2006, "Snakes on the Plane" should've been the highest-grossing movie ever made. The Wrap looks back on ten films that really knew how to work the convention, from last year's "The Amazing Spider-Man" to, of course, "Twilight."

Audiences are clamoring to see some new "Hobbit" footage at Comic-Con on Saturday, but they won't be seeing it "as the director intended." Any and all visions of Middle-earth will be in regular ol' 2D and at 24 frames per second, not in the already-controversial 48 frames per second — so, according to Peter Jackson himself, "the focus stays firmly with the content and not the technical stuff." Hrmph!

Justice was served at Comic-Con 2012! The gang over at SlashFilm caught a screening of the new "Dredd," a super-violent shoot-'em-up that harkens back to the action movies of the '80s — that is, if the action movies of the '80s had starred the awesome Karl Urban.

We never doubted it for a second! Deadline reports that Arnold Schwarzenegger segued into the funny business at hand during the "The Expendables 2" panel to assure everyone that he is indeed doing a "Twins" sequel with his pal Danny DeVito.

Film.comWhat Disney magic was unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con this year? Film.com braved the crowds at Hall H to get some exclusive looks at "Frankenweenie," "Oz: The Great and Powerful," "Wreck-It Ralph" … and even "The Lone Ranger," too. Heigh-Ho!

HollywireAs "Twilight" made its last-ever Comic-Con appearance, it's time to look toward what will be the next "Twilight" — namely, a "Twilight" reboot. Hollywire offers some casting suggestions regarding a project that is probably an inevitability … some day, anyway.
