Who would want to kick a chance at working with Joseph Gordon-Levitt?
Brie Larson has found that she can't resist joining the "50/50" star on his directorial debut as she's signed on to "Don Jon's Addiction," according to Variety.
"Don Jon's Addiction" follows a modern-day Don Juan (Gordon-Levitt) in his quest to turn over a new leaf after he has a life-changing encounter with a widow (Julianne Moore). Larson joins the family as the loathario's sister, with Tony Danza set to play his father (which is awesome); the cast also includes Scarlett Johansson, presumably as (one of) the object(s) of Gordon-Levitt's desire.
Larson will jump right into "Don Jon's Addiction" and from there will segue into appearing with Shailene Woodley in "The Spectacular Now." The "Scott Pilgrim" beauty is also attached to both "Relanxious," co-starring Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde, and "Squirrels to Nuts," co-starring Owen Wilson and, uh, Olivia Wilde.
Well. News of her joining "Don Jon's Addiction" on top of all these other projects just brings us back to the question we asked back in March: Is Brie Larson the next Emma Stone? Discuss!
"Don Jon's Addiction" has already commenced with production and will be released sometime next year. In the interim, Joseph-Gordon Levitt will next be seen in "The Dark Knight Rises," opening July 20, and you can bring Brie Larson home via "21 Jump Street" on Blu-ray.
