Bradley Cooper has been doing his big time movie star thing recently -- you know, headlining films like "The A-Team" and "The Hangover Part 2" and whatever -- but as cool as those movies are, there's just one place we really want to see his rock-hard abs: In a rom-com.
Which is why we're so excited to learn from indieWire that Cooper is considering starring in the new romantic comedy "Flight Before Christmas" from "The Proposal" director Anne Fletcher. Can she do for Cooper what she did for Ryan Reynolds and turn his abs into a household name?
Now that's a proposal we can really get behind.
Of course, it's still a little too early to start counting you six-packs just yet; after all, Cooper hasn't officially signed onto the upcoming project, which is about... well, we don't know for sure, but based on the title we can assume there's some kind of mee-cute involving a holiday airport traffic snarl.
Whatever "Flight Before Christmas" is ostensibly about, however, we know what we want it to really be about: Cooper, making kissyface with a dame to be named later. True, it would help if Fletcher were able to sign on someone like her "Proposal" star Sandra Bullock; after all, some of Fltecher's other films haven't quite lived up to "The Proposal's" high standards (see: "27 Dresses" -- or better yet, don't see it).
But regardless of who the female lead turns out to be, chances are that the success of "Flight Before Christmas" will rest squarely on Cooper's unique brand of lovably douchey charm. That and those sweet, sweet abs.
Sounds like next Christmas might be very merry indeed.
