Male strippers and foul-mouthed teddy bears aren't the normal summer blockbuster fare, but according to Film.com, "Ted" and "Magic Mike" shocked Hollywood by teaming up to provide one of the biggest weekends of the year so far.
Bringing in a whopping $54.1 million in its opening weekend, "Ted" obliterated expectations for Seth MacFarlane's live action debut, while Channing Tatum and the hunks of "Magic Mike" also took in a surprisingly robust $39.1 million.
