"The Hunger Games" phenomenon continues to dominate the box office — and pop culture in general — as according to Hollywood.com the year's biggest film crushed the competition again, taking in $61.1 million over the weekend en route to a staggering 10-day total of $251 million.
New releases "Wrath of the Titans" and "Mirror Mirror" were expected to put up a challenge, but thanks to "The Hunger Games," neither movie stood a chance; "Wrath of the Titans" finished in second place with a $34.2 million debut, while "Mirror Mirror" earned a disappointing $19 million.
