This just in: Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg are big movie stars. We know that comes as a shock to everyone, but it's true, as proven by the fact that their new movie "2 Guns" won the box office this weekend according to Film.com.
Of course, the $27.4 million "2 Guns" made isn't exactly setting any records; we're pretty sure both stars have earned bigger individual paychecks than that for some of their previous roles. But thanks to last week's champ, "The Wolverine," fading to $21.7 million in its second week of release and newcomer "Smurfs 2" taking a complete header with just $18.2 million, "2 Guns" still did well enough to top the charts.
