Now we wish Bill Murray was an Oscar contender every year, since he's apparently pulling out all the stops while out promoting his performance as FDR in "Hyde Park on Hudson."
Case in point: The man's wild entrance on "Late Night With David Letterman" last night. When Letterman introduced him, they cut to a vehicle pulling up outside the Ed Sullivan Theater where two suspicious looking gentlemen in suits pulled Murray out of the trunk with a black bag over his head and then forced the comedian into his guest spot with a tazer.
As if that wasn't enough, Murray led Letterman on a late celebration of the lighting of the tree at Rockefeller Center, complete with Santa hats and hot cocoa. Murrayphiles take note: he likes it with cinnamon and nutmeg.
That's why he is, as The GZA once said, Bill Groundhog-Day, Ghostbustin'-ass Murray!
