In this weekend's "Dark Skies," Keri Russell plays a mother who battles relentless demons wreaking havoc inside her family's suburban home. On top of that, the deadly creatures possess their bodies and make them do some seriously unusual things. It's a far cry from Russell's days as a wholesome, sweet-faced member of the once popular "Mickey Mouse Club."
Yep, that's right. While everyone from Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake to Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera have made the internet rounds with their oh-so-cute footage as singing, dancing kiddies on "The Mickey Mouse Club," Keri Russell somehow slipped under the radar when she made the shift to acting back in the '90s.
While her roles in indie films like "Waitress," or the big-budget action flick "Mission Impossible III," didn't put her triple-threat talent to good use, we found video to remind everyone just how skilled someone had to be in order to earn a spot in the Club.
Back when Russell was just 15-years-old, she really seemed to hold her own alongside every future boy band member, pop tart -- er, star -- and Hollywood hottie. With her infamous mane of curly hair, Russell busted a serious dance move and showcased rap skills we didn't even know existed. Check her out in a group performance of Salt-N-Pepa's "You Showed Me."
